About the service

AAB provides a directory of public outdoor tennis and pickleball courts and an optional community availability-reporting feature. Contact: support@findanopencourt.ca. Updated September 13, 2026.

Availability is not a reservation

A report is a time-limited estimate, not a guarantee that a court is free, a reservation, or permission to play. A public status expires after 60 minutes and may then appear as unknown. Municipal schedules, permits, closures, posted rules and staff directions take priority. Check conditions and rules when you arrive.

Optional reporting and photos

If you choose to submit a mobile report, you must be near the selected venue and provide an honest court count. The app uses a current location and a camera photo to verify the report. The location is sent for proximity and freshness checks; the photo is processed for verification and is not stored in Firebase Storage or published. The read-only web directory uses foreground location locally to show nearby courts, does not use the camera, and does not send exact coordinates. Do not photograph identifiable people, especially children.

Acceptable use

Respect other players, park rules and permitted access. Do not trespass or use the service while driving. Do not spoof location, reuse photos or evidence, submit false or abusive reports, automate spam, harass others, probe security, or interfere with the service. We may reject submissions, expire statuses, limit reporting, or suspend access when needed to protect users and the service.

Suggestions and contributions

Only submit information you are entitled to provide and do not include sensitive personal information. You permit us to process reports and suggestions to operate the directory, verify availability, improve court information and prevent abuse as described in the privacy policy. Suggestions are reviewed and are not published automatically.

Privacy and third-party services

The privacy policy explains what reporting data is processed, what is stored, how long it is kept, and how camera and location data are handled. Firebase and Google Cloud Vision may process information to provide reporting and verification. Directions, municipal source pages and other third-party services have their own terms and privacy practices.

Limitations and rights

Court information, municipal sources and community reports may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated or unavailable. The service does not guarantee safety, court access, availability, suitability or uninterrupted operation. These terms do not grant exclusive access to any court and do not exclude rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms with a revised date and appropriate notice, or limit features when necessary. Report inaccurate information or concerns through support@findanopencourt.ca. Please review the privacy policy before submitting a location or photo.
